"Go ye therefore, and make disciples of all the nations, baptising them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit: teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I commanded you: and lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world." (Matt. 28:19)

Who are RMA?Revival Ministries Australia is a group of people who have been called to follow Jesus Christ. The people involved in this Christian ministry are from various backgrounds, with various levels of education but who share a strong commitment to Jesus and who wish to share about Jesus Christ with all Australians. We are a people who know the Lord from experience, who have experienced His help in our lives and who have witnessed the power of the Lord touching many lives and in some cases bringing miraculous healings to people. In late 1997, the Lord gave us a commission to establish Revival Ministries Australia, to encourage revival in Australia, and in the overseas countries He sends us to. Part of the commission is to train and equip the saints for ministry, and to establish a teaching centre for this purpose. The Lord has also commissioned us to plant churches since late 1998 when He began to show us a strategy to reach Australia through the planting of thousands of New Testament house churches. Revival Ministries Australia is an International apostolic team ministry dedicated to equipping the saints for the work of service (ministry), doing the work of the ministry as ministers of the fivefold ascension gift of Jesus to the church and building up the Body of Christ. (Ephesians 4:12). We are committed to the full restoration of the church through the release of the fivefold ministry gift of apostle, prophet, pastor, evangelist and teacher. We are committed to the revival of the church of Jesus Christ and the salvation of the lost. Apostle Paul Galligan, Jean Manning, Janet Barton lead the ministry. Pastors Peter and Lezette DeBressac pastor the saints at SHILOH in Toowoomba. There are various others who support and minister as integral members of our teams. Revival Ministries Australia has been given the use of a two-storey building in the Toowoomba Central Business District for a very reasonable rental. This has been named, "SHILOH Centre". The top floor has been established as a teaching / worship / prayer centre, while the ground floor is used to reach the community by welcoming people into a large reception area and a small Christian bookshop. Revival Ministries Australia offer a range of seminars and courses in basic Christianity (i.e. discipleship and basic study of God's word), in prayer, evangelism, revival, bible research, preacher training and church planting. In recent manuals the apostolic revelation is being shared and taught. A ministry team is available to come to your church, town or rural area throughout Australia and overseas and minister in housechurches, join with you in daily prayer meetings and teach/train in daily seminars. Seminars, Training Courses and revival meetings will be held regularly in Toowoomba and all are welcome to attend. Short term schools (2-6 weeks duration) are offered from time to time while shorter one week schools can be arranged in your locality. The Holy Spirit moves powerfully in our midst. Revival Ministries Australia provides a range of study manuals or printed notes for all courses and seminars. There are no fees for seminars. This ministry is dependent upon donations and offerings. The ministry is based upon a strong foundation of prayer, and dependency upon the Holy Spirit. Intercessory prayer meetings are held at least four times during each week and there is ongoing prayer support whenever a team is away ministering. Revival Ministries Australia Ltd. [ACN 082 081 098] is a fully constituted non-profit religious corporation registered in Australia.
How do we operate?RMA operates according to the SEVEN STAGES OF MINISTRY which were given to us by the Lord: 1. prayer: the engine room that undergirds all other stages 2. evangelism: the action that comes out of prayer, reaching the lost through divine direction 3. nurture: laying the foundations of Hebrews 6:1-2, providing restoration and healing ministry 4. discipling: teaching the word and relating every person to the word of God 5. training and equipping for ministry: training the disciples to evangelise and teach the word, equipping the disciples to function in the gifts of the Holy Spirit and in power ministry 6. planting new churches: two or three coming together in a prayer house in a selected area to reach the lost and make disciples 7. recognising emerging ministries: seeing the Lord raise up a new generation of apostles, prophets, teachers and all the ministries and gifts of the New Testament (1 Cor. 12:28)
To Whom do we minister?Exciting Sunday meetings are held at SHILOH centre and a number of housechurches operate on Sunday evenings and at other times. As well there are Sunday house church meetings separate to Shiloh in Withcott and Meringandan. Regularly teams travel out from Toowoomba to visit country areas and church groups in many parts of Australia. We have travelled as far as Kununurra in north-west Western Australia, and as far south as Batemans Bay (south from Sydney) and inland to Leeton. This ministry is happy to minister to small groups in remote places. Regularly people from Revival Ministries travel overseas to preach the Gospel. We go to Myanmar (formerly Burma), Philippines, African Nations, Mauritius and India. The poor people of these nations are very happy to see us. We also raise money to support orphans in Myanmar. |
