REPORT FROM APOSTLE GEORGE MUTETI re MINISTRY
IN BUJUMBURRA, the Capital of BURUNDI
Dear
Brethren,
Praise be unto God the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ the Father of Glory. Glory be to You, for in the fullness of time all things in heaven and on earth will be gathered unto You through Your Son Jesus. Blessed be our Lord Jesus who has given us grace and apostleship for the obedience of faith among all nations, by which stand to testfy of what has happened in Bujumburra, Burundi . This has been my fourth visit over the last three years. With prayers and suplications together with thanksgiving, I have beseeched our Father to reform and restore the church in this land by releasing the apostolic revelation to the church. The
last two weeks of my being here has been an enlightening week for
the church. The spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge
of God moved like never before. Over one thousand eight hundred
saints have been sitting under the apostolic grace to receive
the fellowship of the mystery which in the ages past was
not revealed to sons of men in Burundi .
The following revelations were released: sonship, gifts of the Holy Spirit, fruit of Holy Spirit, the pioneering spirit of Nehemiah, from the cross to the kingdom, prophetic singing and praying, church history and the restoration of the five fold ministres. A daily one and half hour lunchtime meeting for leaders, organised by the former Vice President's wife, was the God-ordained meeting where a cross section of leaders met the Lord to receive the spirit of Elijah and yearned to be fathers and sons in the kingdom. The last meeting was attented by the current President's wife. This time the church building was flooded for two hours by the security men in full compact, guiding the First Lady of the nation, who was busy taking notes and receiving the apostolic revealtion through the word. Plans are underway for a big meeting; this was the heart cry of the hungry leaders. Burundi is a small nation, next door to Rwanda. It has had a long term political problem. Late last year they elected a President by the name Peter Ngurunziza (the name means Peter the Good News). He is a born again Christian; he has a house church in his home every Thursday where Christians from any denomination can attend. This is also the day he fasts and prays for the nation. His wife is a pastor. Since he took over so much has been happening. Prostitutes have been targeted; one police officer, a woman, is soon going to receive an honour from the President for following up prostitutes at night and arresting them, (she is born again). There is a crackdown on overnight drinking. A young boy of 15yrs was honoured by the President for inventing a radio station; three more young men own stations, transmitting from their small houses up to three kilometers in radius in remote areas of Burundi. Why am I sharing this? I strongly believe as the knowledge of God begins to fill the Earth, God's glory begins to fill the earth, just as the waters fill the sea. The powers and principalities that bring forth foolishness, war, sickness and other problems become less effective. This is a great mystery. This is the gospel of the Kingdom that will bring nations to the obedience of this great faith. I take this opportunity to thank the Nairobi and SHILOH apostolic companies and others who are standing with me in this trip. I thank God for apostle Paul for ordaining me before I left for this trip when he came to Kenya. I attribute much of the success of this trip to this blessing I received when I was ordained to begin operating fully in the apostlic ministry and grace. I thank prophet Maree and apostle Meshack for the newly introduced monthly newsletter from Nairobi. Your fervent prayers and the great work going on in Soweto. [a slum area in Nairobi] This is a word to all who will come incontact with this message: "I am a true living letter of what God is doing now, thus shifting the church to a life and ministry transforming experience through sonship; I know how I have struggled in Central Africa before entering sonship and I know the favour, grace and breakthrough I now have as you can read above. NigeriaWhen the team was in Kenya in March/April 2005, apostle Emmanuel Yakubu came from Nigeria to meet Paul. He had previously made email contact having found our website and had received a copy of Paul's book 'Walking in Our Inheritence'. After attending a seminar in Nairobi he experienced the apostolic grace coming into the revelation of sonship and has returned to Nigeria preaching a much fuller apostolic message. Other apostles and Bishops in Nigeria have received the message of sonship and have made contact with Paul. RMA intends to visit Nigeria in 2006. As well some key leaders from Nigeria are coming to the 2006 international training school [see Training School ]The Latest from KenyaA number of spiritual sons are now walking in the ministry gift of the apostle, reaching many churches throughout Kenya and through George Muteti reaching into central Africa. An apostolic house has been established in Nairobi. Apostle Meshack Mbugwa is the resident apostle and regular training days and seminars are conducted in this house. Other apostles come to share in the training and numbers of Pastors are coming to be trained. The apostolic message is making significant ground in Kenya. OUT OF AFRICA 2004 We have returned to Australia after 6 weeks in Africa and Mauritius – a most amazing experience in the grace of God, privileged to minister the apostolic revelation in 8 different cities in Africa [in 4 different nations: Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Democratic Republic Congo] and both to and fro in Mauritius. APOSTOLIC CONFERENCES FOR PASTORS AND LEADERS The purpose of our trip was to teach in apostolic conferences for pastors and leaders; to train some of our spiritual sons – who were able to travel on team with us; to see more sons being received, and to release the grace of the revelation of sonship to all whose hearts had been prepared by God. Because the conferences were clearly promoted as apostolic conferences and not as the conference of a particular church, many bishops, pastors and leaders came from various denominated groups including Anglican and Salvation Army [these ministers have never been known to attend Pentecostal church conferences]. RESTORATION OF APOSTLES LEADS TO UNITY IN THE CITY The apostolic message of the restoration of the church, which is signified by the restoration of apostles, is the word of faith which the Lord has released to be preached everywhere. There is a hunger among many saints, pastors and leaders, a dissatisfaction with the existent system of government and the structures of the church which are non-relational, being institution based. All those who gathered in the conferences were willing to listen and receive clear teaching from the Scriptures. Many were convicted and repentant over the non-Biblical church practice they were involved in. After a 3 day conference in one city, twenty bishops and pastors [in Kenya bishops are the recognised leaders of more than one church and generally have their own registered church ministry] asked to see apostle Paul. The team thought they may have some questions about the teaching but they came as one man, having met together the night before, to express their full acceptance of Paul as an apostle to them and they wanted to know how they could go forward together as elders with an apostolic father. God was showing us with an awesome demonstration that the word of restoration and reformation that we are bringing to the church is real and attainable. A city is changed Many of these brothers have raised up many churches. One of them has been in ministry for 40 years but confessed his need for a spiritual father. Another brother who had been in ministry for 30 years testified that he had never experienced the power of the Holy Spirit. He said many had prayed for him; he said some had even tried to push him over, but when our team gently laid hands on him, he felt the power of God enter his body and was slain by the Spirit’s power. He was rejoicing. We met the host pastor of this conference three weeks later and he said the city is changed and he was receiving positive testimonies. Many who missed the conference had heard testimony of what God had done. RAISING UP APOSTLES George Muteti and Peter Akeck hosted conferences and travelled with the team as co-workers but also as trainees. We were able to introduce them to pastors and leaders as men who are called to be apostles. It was through George that God opened the door into Kampala, the capital of Uganda, into Rwanda [we ministered in the capital, Kigali and in a provincial town, Rwamagana] and in Goma, DRC. In Rwanda, George had taught in a 6 month training school which he called STADO [steadfast in apostolic doctrine]. We had the privilege of graduating 22 students in a commissioning service. RWANDA, A NATION IN MOURNING Ten years ago Rwanda experienced 100 days of absolute madness, wherein over one million people, civilian men, women and children, were systematically slaughtered. Many of them were driven from their homes and murdered in the streets. Whole streets were covered with dead bodies. The genocide was orchestrated by the government of the day and was a predetermined plan to exterminate all Tutsis. God had ordained that the Australian team arrived in Rwanda on 7th April, the 10th memorial anniversary of the genocide. It was deeply moving to share in the grief of the Nation and to hear first hand reports of what people had suffered. God enabled us to speak life and real hope and to minister healing to some at a deep level. The apostolic teaching was attentively received and we had the opportunity to share with some very senior leaders of the church in the nation. The issues in Rwanda are very complex as even most churches were implicated in the killings. People were lured into church buildings with the promise of safety and then handed over to the killers. Rwanda has been a nation in revival in times past but obviously the form of Christianity was too shallow. It is only a properly founded apostolic church that can bring this nation into God’s redemptive purposes. MAURITIUS In Mauritius on the way to Africa there were opportunities to specifically share the apostolic doctrine in a number of churches but also opportunities in house meetings to preach the gospel and over 20 souls came to the Lord in four days. On the way home the ministry in Mauritius was focused mainly on a one day seminar for pastors and leaders, titled "Turning the hearts of the fathers to the children" Mal.4:6. We witnessed a wonderful release of God’s grace as many received the revelation of sonship. As well we had time to build relationships with our brothers there. WALKING IN OUR INHERITANCE During the trip in the midst of many opportunities to preach and teach in conferences and seminars the Lord has released many insights and further understanding of His end time purposes in the church. We will be writing a new manual to share the unfolding revelations. The manual will be called "Walking in our Inheritance" and will include sessions on – "Jesus our Apostle", Heb.3:1; "Coming into the Feast of Tabernacles – the Feast of Fulfilment"; "Inheritance is for sons not servants"; "What it means to grow into Maturity". TRAINING DAY: Saturday 29th May at SHILOH Centre, 10am – 5pm. Guest ministry Jim Hosie and team: ‘Understanding Deliverance’ SHILOH SCHOOL OF MINISTRY – 2 weeks full time apostolic training for ministry, ‘Preparing workers for the Harvest’. Mon. 28th June to Sat. July 10 Various regional trips & overseas missions are being planned – please pray Spiritual Sons in Kenya who are Ministering as Apostles.
George
is a spiritual son having come into relationship with this ministry.
George's family, wife and 6 children, live in Kakamega in West
Kenya but George currently works in Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi and
Central Congo as an apostle, as well as planting the church and
raising up sons in Lugari district, Kenya. He reports that since
coming into apostolic relationship he has experienced a greater
release in teaching the Word and in power ministry - signs following.
Peter Akeck Peter Akeck is a spiritual son, married with one daughter, who is named Janet Barton Blessing, and lives in Kakamega. Peter has had experience in planting churches and knows an apostolic call on his life. He is training, equipping and sending out workers into the harvest. He is hungry for teaching and preaches out of the manuals and other materials we have been able to supply; Peter also is a man who receives direct revelation. He is now planting housechurches.
Theresa
had been praying and fasting for two weeks before she met us.
She was crying out to God for a spiritual father. Theresa has
planted churches in Nairobi, Busia, Kakamega and Bungoma and oversees
these churches today, with other pastors working with her. Theresa
has 6 children, she lives by faith and knows the faithfulness
and provision of the Lord. Theresa is an apostle with many other
ministers receiving her. Meshack Mbugwa Meshack has answered the call to be an apostle, stepping out of pastoral work in a denominational situation. He is setting up an apostolic training centre in Nairobi. Meshack has a growing number of sons in the ministry. In November 2004 he hosted the apostolic training school for the Australian team. Over 130 ministers were hosted.
Peter and his wife Anne and children are based in Kitale, West Kenya. Peter has come into sonship and is received in his own city and in many other areas, including Uganda as an apostle of Jesus Christ. Many Bishops are now working with Peter and we are seeing the emergence of a city-wide church in Kitale.
