Liberia

Ordination of Rev.
William Kettor to be an apostle. His wife Kamba
is standing with us.
The ordination took place in May 2009 in Monrovia.
We first met William Kettor in October
2007. William came to Ghana to meet us and was taught
by us for 9 days. We commisioned William to apostolic
ministry. He returned to Liberia, resigned from
being a bishop, and began to pursue the apostolic
ministry. He opened an apostolic training school.
In May 2008 Paul Galligan and Nicholas
Jackson visited Liberia and taught for 8 days. Many
pastors and ministers came to the teaching.
In May 2009 Paul and Janet Galligan
and Jeff Suttles, an apostle from North Carolina,
were back in Liberia. Again we conducted 8 days
of apostolic training school. We met many ministers
and as a result of the visit there are now 12 apostolic
schools being conducted in Liberia.
One of the exciting things about being
in Liberia in 2009 was that four pastors came from
Sierra Leone for the training. One of those pastors
returned to Freetown and began an apostolic school
with other pastors. In November 2009 William Kettor
is planning to visit Freetown and teach in the apostolic
school. They are hoping to have pastors from Guinea
attend that training.
