"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, meekness, self-control; against such there is no law."

(Gal. 5:22-23)

Many wonderful things have been happening at SHILOH as we continue day by day in the International School. Some of the International students have returned home, but not before God has worked a marvellous work in their lives. The testimonies of the brethren of those who have gone and those who remain are remarkable. A number of Australian brethren are also completing the school and a number of others attend part time. For those of us on the ministry team it has been a time of deepening experience in the word and the Spirit. While much of the teaching has been from the manuals and from Paul’s book, we have often been amazed by the fresh revelation that the Lord is giving and the strength of His anointing that has been released. We all are growing in Christ, in His anointing, and in the revelational knowledge of His word. We are conscious that this school is a mini “School of Tyrannus” (Acts 19:9-10). As we continue in the school, teaching daily, often brethren have gone out from the school to share the word in various places. As well we have continuing feedback from brethren in other nations, especially Kenya where the word of the Lord is being released through the apostolic ministries that are functioning and “the word of the Lord is growing mightily and prevailing” Acts 19:20.

Apostle Peter Akeck writes, “from Taveta [a coastal town in Kenya] where we witnessed the greatest apostolic breakthrough we ever had in Kenya. Over sixty pastors of the town with all the top leadership came to the seminar, hungry, ready and serious to receive the apostle and the apostolic revelation. While meeting the top leadership of the pastors in Taveta, the Spirit spoke to me about the chairman, that He had actually called him to be an apostle but he needed the revelation. When I told him this during the major seminar with all the pastors of Taveta  plus their wives, he confirmed that it was true and that another minister had also said the same to him. He requested that I pray and commission him there and then into the apostolic to do the work of an apostle, which he had actually been doing under the guise of a Bishop. The unction was so strong, all the pastors and other ministers in attendance were in full agreement with that. It was great to see the Lord positioning the pastors’ chairman as an apostle and starting off the change of wineskin over Taveta: from Shebna to Eliakim.” [‘Shebna to Eliakim: A change of Leadership’ Isa.22:15-25, is a session out of the manual ‘The Spirit and Power of Elijah’]

At the end of week seven of our International School [Fri.26th – Mon 29th], the delegates had the opportunity of experiencing the apostolic company in action. All the international delegates were part of outreach ministry into regional areas. Two of the brothers, from Nigeria and South Africa were due to depart for their own nations on Sat. 27th. However they travelled to Ipswich on Friday with Pastor Jean Manning to be part of ministry with Burning Lamp Ministries, in that city.

Pastor Peter De Bressac led a team including two brothers from Nigeria [Emmanuel Yakubu is now with us] and one from Pakistan, and they travelled over 1150kms north to Proserpine. On Friday they had fellowship with a sister in Biggenden who provided lunch for the team, and then continued on to Gladstone for the night. Over 30 attended the evening meeting in the house of brother Ralph and his wife Wendy, with seven different denominations represented. Emmanuel Yakubu preached and then ministered to the people with prophetic words. This team continued on to Proserpine for an evening meeting on Saturday night and through the day on Sunday. They came back rejoicing having experienced a deep level of fellowship with the saints in the house meetings. We have also received glowing reports from the brethren who attended the meetings.

Apostle Paul led another team consisting of two cars and a total of eight, including five international delegates, to Dorrigo [550 kms South of Toowoomba], the home of brother Don and brother Robert Pitkin, arriving for a Friday evening meeting and continuing until Sunday midday. This was a weekend of continuous fellowship over meals, sharing and teaching of the word. Up to 30 folk gathered on Saturday to sit under the apostolic teaching. Ten brethren came forward to receive sonship on Saturday afternoon. Seven of these brethren were in meetings with us for the first time ever. One of them was the pastor of a new church. There were two sisters from a far away place who had received some of Paul’s material and had been pursuing the apostolic diligently since reading the material. Now they have gone to their home place walking in sonship and with a number of other brethren, including a young pastor, will be starting a new house church and spreading the apostolic teaching. In the meetings at Dorrigo we experienced a new and deeper level of the anointing, in ministering sonship and in other messages from the word.

Other international brethren spent the weekend in a rural area [Killarney] ministering to house fellowships from Friday to Monday. They also saw some kangaroos!

The international delegates testified on returning that they had experienced and seen first hand the functioning of the apostolic company, with committed brethren in far away places being very much part of the apostolic company. One Pastor from Pakistan shared that Paul preaches and teaches with the same passion in a small group in a house as he does in a large group of people gathered for a seminar.

Apostolic/Prophetic Conference at SHILOH, 10th – 12th June

This conference proved to be a highlight of the School coming at the end of week nine. Nine overseas brethren shared the word of God in the Conference and it was amazing how powerfully the Lord spoke through the brothers. The conference stirred all of us deeply, bringing us to a point of commitment at the end of the pre-lunch session on Monday. Through apostle Emmanuel Yakubu, from Nigeria, who is also very gifted prophetically, the Lord brought a fresh and enlarged commissioning to Paul Galligan and the whole apostolic company gathered. We had been joined by brethren as far north as Proserpine and as far south as Dorrigo. The Lord challenged us to embrace His commissioning to ‘father the apostolic restoration in many nations’. The word of God has been arresting our attention over recent weeks through the teaching in the school and also through the word spoken by some of the overseas brethren when they have preached at weekends here at SHILOH. By Monday of the conference God was calling all who were willing and who believed they were ready, to fully commit to being part of the apostolic company that is being sent to the nations.

It is as though the word of the Lord is running swiftly and the Lord Himself is going ahead, leading the way, leading the breakthrough (Mic.2:13). A number of prophetic things have happened during the course of the school. A few weeks ago Paul and some of the brethren from the school were invited to attend a local church meeting here in Toowoomba and the host pastor publicly received Paul as an apostle in the city. This was unexpected but was significant in the realm of the spirit. Other doors have opened whereby brethren have made contact and have come to visit the school or have met the teams that have gone out to the regional towns to minister. There is an openness to the apostolic message in Australia as never before.

“Rightly dividing the word of truth” 2Tim.2:15b

I shared in the March newsletter the CONTEXT principle that I have learnt from Kevin Conner and especially from his book, ‘Women in Ministry’. All false teachings and especially of cults such as Jehovah Witnesses are based on taking Scriptures out of context and developing teachings and theories and theologies and eschatologies that finally are not Scripturally sound. In these days, especially in the West, but available to anyone with access to the internet, it is possible to look up and research every word of Scripture through Greek and Hebrew dictionaries and concordances. But even without concordances and dictionaries, every serious student of the word can faithfully follow the context principle, i.e., to examine text of Scripture in its context. There are five levels of context: 1) the passage, 2) the chapter, 3) the book, 4) the Testament, 5) the whole Bible. When seeking to understand a Scripture, examine it and see how it fits in the context. Finally Scripture will confirm Scripture, not contradict it. A good guide is: major on major issues in Scripture, not on minor issues.
