"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, meekness, self-control; against such there is no law."

PREACH!   PRACTICE!   PROLIFERATION!

As we preach the apostolic doctrine, the revelation of the mystery, according to the dispensation of grace given by the Lord, those who hear are brought into the fellowship of the mystery and are able to practise apostolic Christianity. As apostolic Christianity is practised, because there is such a powerful demonstration of grace in the lives of those who have received the spirit of sonship by the Holy Spirit, there is very soon a proliferation of the message, with large numbers of saints and ministers receiving the revelation.

For example a dear brother in a West Kenyan city first came into sonship in 2003, and since he hosted an apostolic conference in March this year, has practised apostolic Christianity in his local church, being supported by many other bishops in the city. Now after the recent school, he has called his daughter churches together for a conference and has opened it to others and by the first day of the conference had over 750 gathering. This is all happening with a few days notice. The following SMS came through from our brother on Wednesday morning: “Eyes are wide open, eyes agape. No one can hide it. A clear sign that this is a new day. Even ministers, those who have walked with God all this time, cannot but manage to exclaim, ‘We have not heard it in this version.’ I spoke to 743 day time and to 411 night boarders. Today will be fire. It is working for me: finances are coming in; we have all our needs furnished. Thank you God for allowing me to be part of this. Apostle Paul we love you, you have helped open our eyes; you are the one doing this.”

RESTORATION OF THE CHURCH AT THE END OF THE AGE

God has given us the privilege of preaching the apostolic revelation and we are seeing many coming into sonship. They then practise apostolic Christianity, making adjustments and changes to their teaching and church practice. The result is whole bodies of God’s people are coming into the apostolic revelation and there is proliferation of the message. It is awesome!! This restoration move of the Holy Spirit at the end of the age in the church of Jesus Christ is unstoppable because it is clearly and simply according to the word of God! Restoring the pattern!

THE WORD BRINGS FORTH 100 FOLD

We have been blessed to see over 100 ministers gladly receive apostolic teaching for two weeks in the school in Nairobi and already many of them have a testimony of the good fruit that comes when the church begins to practise sound doctrine according to the word of God. Some of the brethren who were in the school are already functioning as apostles and apostolic companies had already begun to form around them.

There are now four discernible apostolic companies in Kenya and another forming. One of the apostles in West Kenya also has strong links with pastors and disciples in Rwanda and Central Congo. These brethren came all the way from Central Africa to be part of the school and their feedback to us has been so encouraging. One senior pastor with well over 500 church members and oversight of other churches is totally committed to discipling every believer whom he has oversight of. He has already begun training courses for more advanced disciples.

The apostolic training centre, which hosted the school, is being established on a continuing basis in Nairobi. This centre will be a registered ministry in Kenya and will serve all churches. Some years ago when I was in Kenya speaking in a large conference, I heard a local preacher bring a very prophetic word speaking about the restoration of the apostolic anointing to the church of Jesus Christ. This brother, who leads quite a large local church, along with many other pastors and bishops in Nairobi and throughout Kenya, are very ready to receive the apostolic revelation. Kenya has enjoyed a wonderful revival for the last ten years or so. There are many, many churches; the gospel is openly preached everywhere; and now as the leaders receive the word through apostles, the result is becoming very dynamic.

FAITH, HOPE, LOVE, these three remain, and the greatest of these is love (1Cor.13:13)

After all is said and done these three remain: faith, hope and love. In the Christian life we are seeing clearly that there are three distinct phases of experience and growth.

FAITH: when we are first saved we come to faith. It is all about believing in Jesus and young believers are so excited to have found a real and living God who answers their prayers. As believers we are discipled in the word on the basis of faith.

HOPE: as we grow up and begin to learn to minister, we can only do that by receiving the Holy Spirit and He enables us to become ministers of the New Covenant. The Holy Spirit actually releases hope in us; hope for things eternal, hope because of the promises yet to be received, and we begin to function as ministers in the body motivated by the hope that is now released inside of us. It is this hope that keeps us going through the hard times, ‘the wilderness years’.

LOVE: as younger Christians we experience God’s love in part and we yearn for more; but because of our immaturity our desire for love is often based on a self-focused need. It is when we become mature, that is, receiving the spirit of adoption and walking as sons to the Father, that we experience the love of God in such a way that His love flows through us to others. This is the heart of the Father: LOVE.

CALLED TO BE SONS Rom.8:29; Heb.2:10

God is faithful and He will do “exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or pray according to His power already at work in us” Eph.3:20. The Spirit of God is calling us to come into the house of the Father; Jesus, the Son over His own house, whose house we are, is calling us to come to the Father (Heb.3:1-6). Receive the bread that has come down from heaven; Jesus is the bread; in other words Jesus is the Word and it is only by eating and drinking of His life that we will have life in us. Eat your fill! Put off all filthiness of the flesh and the spirit! Be ye sanctified entirely. Your whole spirit, soul and body preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

As He is so are we in the world today (1 Jn.4:17). We are a people of power, a people of praise, a people of promise! Jesus has risen, He has conquered the grave! Now we are the sons of God. Now is the time to come to Jesus; to grow up; to become sons. Sons then become fathers and the Scripture is fulfilled “God will send Elijah before the great and dreadful day of the Lord, he will turn the hearts of the fathers to the children and the hearts of the children to the fathers” Mal.4:5-6. God is doing this today. He has put it in the hearts of people. The people of God are ready to receive the apostles. God is raising apostles to whom He has given grace to release sonship and to raise many others into ministry. Once the apostle is in place then the prophet, the evangelist, the pastor and the teacher begin to function fully; the miracle workers, the healers, the ministry of helps and the ministry of administrations [this is the ministry of ‘steering’ as in piloting a ship] and all other gifts and ministries of the New Testament church are set in place and are released to function fully. The apostle is the church planter, planting and building the church according to the pattern; raising and releasing others to function and minister.

THE FEAST OF FULFILMENT

The third and final feast of the Lord as given to Moses is the Feast of Tabernacles, consisting of the Blowing of Trumpets, the Day of Atonement and the eight day Feast of Tabernacles. This came in the seventh month and was not able to be celebrated until the people of God were in the Land. Passover, in the first month, the beginning, was in Egypt; Pentecost, the empowerment for the wilderness journey, was first at Sinai; but Tabernacles, the feast of Fulfilment was the feast to celebrate victory and inheritance in the Land.

Passover has been fulfilled in Christ’s death and resurrection, and fulfilled in the believer through salvation including baptism;

Pentecost was fulfilled by the Holy Spirit coming, and the believer receiving the Spirit.

Both these Feasts were fulfilled at the beginning of the church age. There has been a long gap to the end of the age even as there was an unexpected gap in the journeying of Israel from Sinai to the Land.

Now at the end of the age, the Feast of Fulfilment is upon us.

The Scripture says “The glory of the latter house shall be greater than the former” Hag.2:9. The last days church will be full of the glory of the Lord; the revelation of the mystery is being released again as God raises apostles with a dispensation of grace to “preach the unsearchable riches of Christ … to make all know the fellowship of the mystery” Eph.3:8-9.

The God of peace Himself will sanctify the church entirely (1 Thess.5:23), and Jesus Himself is sanctifying and cleansing the church so that He can present to Himself “a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing” Eph.5:26-27.

The five-fold ministry is being restored and must minister “until we all come to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ” Eph.4:13.  The saints will rule as kings in the earth: the saints will receive the Kingdom of God in the earth (Lu.12:32, Dan.7:18, 22, 27).
