Paul
Galligan
Paul was radically saved in 1974 into an exciting
charismatic movement. Many were being saved in those days, being filled
with the Holy Spirit and new churches were being planted.
In 1980, Paul began to work on church staff in Toowoomba, serving in
Christian schooling [Toowoomba Christian Academy] and church
administration [Christian Life Community Church]. From 1985-87
Paul served as the local pastor of the church and school. Then from
1988-90, Paul was a pastor with Christian Outreach Centre and planted
a church in North Toowoomba.
During 1991-93 Paul spent three years out of ministry: as a consultant
in Sydney, house painter and university student [completing B.A.Dip.Ed].
From 1994-97 Paul worked four years with Freedom Life Centre and Rangeville
Uniting Church. During this time he began to travel and teach in seminars.
In January 1998, Paul launched Revival Ministries Australia with Jean
Manning, Janet Barton and team.
Paul's first trip to Myanmar was in 1997, and he has now been six times.
Over the last four years Paul has also travelled on ministry to East
Africa and Mauritius. He has travelled widely around Eastern Australia,
and north to Darwin and Kunanurra.
Paul is called to be an apostle, a teacher and a preacher. Since late
2002 Paul has discovered the grace of sonship, coming into the inheritance
of grace that God has for each one of us to walk in maturity. Since
that time many have come into the grace of sonship through Paul, both
in Australia and overseas.
Janet Barton
Janet Barton has been serving full time with Revival
Ministries Australia since its inception in 1998. Janet has travelled
and ministered with the apostolic team within Australia and overseas
in Myanmar, Mauritius, Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania. Janet's prayer and
intercessory ministry has blessed many people. She also teaches and
preaches and is emerging as a young apostle, with an ability to 'mother'
younger women in the Lord.
Jean
Manning
Jean was part of the original team that set up
Revival Ministries Australia in January 1998. Prior to this she ministered
with Freedom Life Centre at Rangeville Uniting Church. She travelled
on team within Australia and was involved in prayer counselling on a
regular basis.
In 1990 she responded to the Lord's call to "go to the nations" and
went to India with a short term mission team for a month. On that ocassion
she ministered to the urban poor of Delhi. She met India Campus Crusade
for Christ workers on that trip and has maintained contact with them
and ministered with them in different ways on seven subsequent trips
to India.
In February 2000, Jean led a team to West Bengal and taught and ministered
at a conference for Indian and Nepalese pastors and leaders. On this
occasion the team had the opportunity to visit one of the high places
of Bhutan and pray.
In 2002, Jean and husband, Bruce, ministered to local pastors in Kanpur
as well as conducting prayer seminars in Ajmer and Jaipur with India
Campus Crusade for Christ.
Jean has also led teams to the Philippines where RMA has ongoing contact
with Jesus Is ALive Christian Family International Mission, Inc.
Since she first went to Myanmar in 1997, Jean has led teams back there
each year, teaching pastors and leaders, encouraging churches, being
involved in village evangelism and ministering to children in orphanages.
Jean was ordained to the ministry with RMA in 1999 and is committed
to apostolic ministry in Australia and to the nations, "to equip the
saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of
Christ".
In Australia, Jean travels to country areas in Queensland, teaching,
supporting and encouraging the body of Christ.
Jean is actively involved in prayer, teaching and other day to day activities
at Shiloh Centre.
