The first Ministry School took place in June/July

of several schools, we have settled on a two week timetable. This enables
a full presentation but guards against weariness and the difficulty
that attendees have to get off work and free of other responsibilities
for a longer period. Attendance is open and flexible, if you can only
attend certain days, you are welcome.
SHILOH
SCHOOL of APOSTOLIC MINISTRY TRAINING –
is an apostolic ministry to the body of Christ for
the training and equipping of the people of God to function fully, to
extend the kingdom of God on earth in
obedience to the Great Commission.
Introduction
and background: In
recent years there
has been the re-establishment of the ministry of apostles
in the church of Jesus Christ worldwide.
Here in Australia, Revival Ministries Australia [RMA], was
formed in January 1998 and registered by April 1998 with an approved
constitution as a not-for-profit Christian
ministry and Christian church. RMA has been an integral part of that
re-establishment. Since June/July
1999, RMA has conducted short-term training schools twice yearly with
students attending from two
to six weeks of full time training. During the years many teaching manuals
have been written and
used
in the training schools. These teaching manuals have also been used
in overseas nations.
In
2006 we conducted our first longer term training school for three months.
This school was prepared and presented for the training and equipping
of overseas brethren who were already functioning in ministry. A number
of Australian brethren also completed the training.
We
seek to follow Paul’s practice in Acts
19
and be obedient to the Great Commission that our Lord Jesus gave
us. Paul the apostle spent two years in a teaching centre in Ephesus.
He taught the word of God daily.
As
a result the Gospel spread throughout Asia Minor; “So
the word of the Lord was growing mightily and
prevailed”
and
“all who lived in Asia heard the word of the Lord Jesus.”
(Acts
19:20&10)
In
giving us the Great Commission in Matthew, Jesus commanded us “Go
and make disciples of all
the nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and the Son and
the Holy Spirit, teaching
them to observe all that I commanded you.”
(Matt.28:19-20)
We give ourselves to this teaching
ministry.
The
Lord gave us a commission in late 1997 to establish Revival Ministries
Australia, to encourage revival in
Australia and in overseas countries. To fulfil the commission, we need
to train and equip the saints for ministry,
raising workers for the harvest (Matt.9:37-38,
Lu.10:2)
and fathering sons in order to bring the church to maturity.
SHILOH International School of Ministry
has been established for this purpose.
VISION: “For
it was fitting for Him, for whom are all things and by whom are all
things, in bringing
many sons to glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through
sufferings.”
Heb.2:10 It
is time for the servants of God to ‘become
sons’ and
begin to
walk in the inheritance that God has reserved for us.
Our
vision is to see many sons walking in the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ so that He can be manifest in all the
earth.
GOAL: a) to equip the saints,
b) to do the work of ministry,
c)
to bring edification to the body of Christ” (Eph.
4:12).
This means bringing each person to the full expression of ministry within
the church through teaching and
training. The release of well-trained ministers will cause the church
to grow up into all that Christ intends as revealed
in the New Testament; to raise many sons in ministry, bringing all the
saints into the experience of sonship.
PURPOSE: To raise up workers for the harvest, to
bring about the effectual evangelisation of our generation, in preparation for the return
of the Lord Jesus Christ, to rule and reign in the earth for a thousand years; vital
to the fulfilment of this purpose is the raising and releasing of apostles in every
nation, to father the church.
To build the house of God [church] in every
place according to the ‘master plan’ (1 Cor.3:10) in fulfilment of the
vision of Zechariah 4, “not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit says the Lord
of Hosts.” The church must be built according
to the Word of God; Jesus is building His church (Matt.16:18)
and for this purpose He gave “some to be
apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, some to be pastors and teachers.”
Eph.4:11.
PRACTICE: Through teaching, making known “the
revelation of the mystery”, “preaching the unsearchable riches of Christ”;
teaching and training in the Word of God; experience in ministry of the gifts of the Holy
Spirit; group involvement in prayer and worship; participation in ministry; training
in teaching and preaching the Word of God.
Trainees will be involved in praise and worship daily and training
in prayer. There will be daily breaking of bread, with students
learning to minister the table. Students will be involved in practical outreach opportunities
at weekends.
PHILOSOPHY: We believe the LORD is preparing His
church to be a glorious “bride-church” and is raising
up workers [sons] in His church to go into the harvest. This training will provide a means
for many saints to be equipped and released into fruitful
ministry. We are actively involved in the apostolic reformation of the
church of Jesus Christ and teach apostolic doctrine and revelation. This
means the restoration of the church according to the Scriptures.

Study
Manuals and Books
- a series of study/teaching manuals have been produced by RMA,
as well as two
books written by apostle Paul Galligan:
Books:-
‘Walking in our Inheritance’ and 'Apostles Today'
The
manuals cover teaching in prayer,
evangelism,
foundations
of the faith and the milk
of the word,
eg. ‘Prayer
Attack’, ‘The Word and the Spirit’, ‘Prayer a Way of Life’.
The
solid
food of the Scripture
bringing out deeper understanding of the church, the fulfilment of Old
Testament types and shadows and New Testament church practice and doctrine,
eg. ‘Foundations
of
our Faith’, ‘I will build My church’, ‘Church Planting’, ‘Faith in Practice’.
The
manuals provide the basis of a graduated course of teaching, starting
with the simpler truths of the Word
of God, then graduating
to the deeper wisdom,
eg.
‘Steps to Revival’, ‘Let us go on to Perfection’, ‘From
the Cross to the Glory’,
'The Heart of the Matter' and 'Stewards of the Mysteries'.
Advanced
leadership manuals: ‘He
gave some to be Apostles’, ‘Leadership in the Last Days Church’, ‘The
Spirit and Power of Elijah’.
Finance
Revival
Ministries Australia does not charge fees for seminars or training schools.
There will be an opportunity to
give into offerings; donations to the ministry and costs of printing
resources will be gratefully received.
Our
teaching resources are freely available to the body of Christ. We sow
the seed of God’s word as He enables us.
Venue
SHILOH
Centre, 19 Russell St., TOOWOOMBA
is the facility that God has provided for this ministry.
SHILOH functions as a teaching centre and as an evangelistic outreach
through a Christian bookshop;
discipleship, teaching and training are effected through regular teaching
sessions, training
courses, workshops, seminars and schools. There are opportunities for
disciples and trainees to
go out in this nation and overseas on apostolic teams for experience
in ministry. The School of Ministry is
mobile: schools have been held in other cities and overseas. SHILOH
centre will be set apart for the conduct
of the schools.
Policy
for overseas trainees from developing countries:
1) Applicant
needs to supply their own airfares [return] to Brisbane, Australia
2) Applicant
needs to be aware of Australian visa fee plus compulsory medical cost
[these costs to be
covered by applicant]
3) On applying
to come, each applicant needs to clearly state reasons for wishing to
attend school
in
Australia in a personal letter, on church or ministry letterhead if
possible..
4) Applicants
will need two references from senior ministers who know the applicant
and can vouch that the
person is of good character, is called by God to be a minister of Jesus
Christ and is free of all political involvement.
5) The most
suitable visa to apply for is the 'Business Visitors Visa 456'. Please
note the Australian Embassies will probably require bank statements.
6) On arrival,
oversees trainees will be collected from Brisbane international airport.
For the duration of
the school your accommodation, food and travel costs will be fully
provided, until your departure from Australia.
7) Condition:
trainees who come on a visa, having been sponsored by RMA, are required
to fulfil their
obligations of school attendance and only travel elsewhere in Australia
with RMA, or by prior approved
arrangement under the terms of the visa.
8) IMPORTANT
ADVICE: In planning to come to Australia for this school, we
advise you not
to borrow money, nor to come to Australia thinking that you can
raise money here through
ministry.
There will be no opportunity for individual school attendees to be going
out ministering in your own
right. Part of your commitment to the school is to be sent on weekend
missions on behalf of RMA.
This school
is a ‘faith school’ and everyone who comes will be brought by the Lord
with
a testimony of how the Lord enabled them to come.
